Would you like to study in Texas? We have great news for you!
On Friday, February 13, starting at 6:00 PM, Level Up Scholarships is organizing a presentation of Huston–Tillotson University (HTU) from Austin, Texas, at IN Hotel Belgrade. HTU is one of the most promising U.S. universities for international students and student-athletes.
During the event, you will have the opportunity to speak directly with a university representative, Dr. Steven Edmond (Dean and Professor Emeritus, School of Business and Technology, Director, Office of International Programs), as well as coaches of men’s soccer, women’s basketball, and women’s volleyball, who will share key information about:
- academic and athletic scholarships
- admission requirements for international students
- student employment opportunities during and after studies
- student life and athletic programs on campus
Why choose Huston-Tillotson University?
Affordable Education
Huston–Tillotson University offers high-quality American education at a highly competitive cost. The total annual cost (including tuition, housing, and meals) is approximately $25,000, with no additional out-of-state fees, making HTU one of the most affordable study options in the United States.
Academic and Athletic Scholarships
HTU provides strong support to students through a variety of scholarship programs. The university offers academic scholarships for high-achieving students (including the W.E.B. DuBois Honors Scholarship and Academic Achievement Scholarship), as well as athletic scholarships for talented student-athletes. Coaches and administrative staff work closely with students to help them successfully balance academic responsibilities and athletic commitments.
Student Employment Opportunities (On-Campus & CPT)
During their studies, students are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week on campus, gaining valuable work experience and additional income. Through the Curricular Practical Training (CPT) program, students can also work in their field of study while still enrolled, allowing them to gain practical experience and better prepare for their future careers.
The Connection Between Sports and Education
Sports are an integral part of student life at HTU. Student-athletes have access to modern athletic facilities, individualized support from coaches and academic advisors, and a structured system that enables them to progress both on the field and in the classroom.
Personalized Approach and Student Support
With a 15:1 student-to-faculty ratio, HTU offers a highly personalized learning environment. Students receive continuous support from academic advisors, mentors, and faculty members—an especially important advantage for international students adjusting to the U.S. education system for the first time.
